Mobitel Monitor

 

This is application for our local mobile operator in Slovenia, Mobitel. The app is used for checking your account balance and a neat feature for sending SMS messages from WiFi while roaming. Video is in Slovene.

QuickDial

I have crated webpage, which is meant to become home page at your browser. It is a list of your favorites web pages, that you visit on daily basis and just want to access them very fast. Most important feature is actually visual representation of a web page, so you can easily remember which site you would like to see.
This is my small project, where I wanted to learn a little bit more about AJAX and ASP.NET implementation of it. I think it is useful to everybody, so I’m sharing it on my page and everybody can make it home page. It’s not yet finished project, I’m planning to implement some more features, which would be very useful on home page (like search etc.) – if you have any idea, recommendation, whish, request, etc. just post a comment here!

Expression Blend

 This is a video tutorial for begginers on topic, how to simply create basic Windows Presentation Fundation application using Visual Studio and Expression Blend. I have covered only basic topics, like drawing, creating animations and connecting animations with events, where you can write some code.

WebApp Wrapper

 

 

Now days there are a lot of very useful web applications, which we use on a daily basis (eg. Facebook, Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail and a bunch of others). But for accessing these services, we need to open web browser, type in address (or click on favorites and chose the right link). And the feeling is not the same as true client application, although we must admit, that with AJAX all those web application become really user friendly. So why not to create a web browser wrapper to give a user feeling of having that fat-client. And that exactly what this project is about.

Visual Studio 2010

This is presentation, which was done on event called "Študent je car", that is major slovenian event for stundets of computer science. I did this presentation with Bojan Vrhovnik in front of student crowd gatherd at Ljubljana's and Maribor's faculty for computer science. 
We did present what we can expect in upcomming Visual Studio 2010 and C# language, version 4.0. There are bunch of new stuff, just to mention dynamic type and optional parameters. There are several new stuff in Visual Studio, the best for me is called history debugging, which enables me to go back in history so many steps as I want. Great stuff.

Virtualization

I did a research about Virtualization and solutions availible on market and Have foud out, that all major "players" in computer science is doing something in that field. Most famous is absolutly VmWare, from witch I took most of the informations gatherd in my presentation. Althought this slideshow is more abstract, so everything written and shown is more or less priciple used by all manufactures.
Here I did a presentation about basic Virtual Maschine, Virtual Infrastructure and how it is useful in Distibuted Systems. I did also mention it's foundation for clod computing.
